How to Get HELP from Isaiah 61:1 Project
PLEASE NOTE: We currently serve only those in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
If you, or someone you know would like assistance, the incarcerated person needing assistance must write us a letter telling us their story (where you are from, how you were raised, your goals upon release, etc--WITHOUT MENTIONING ANY CHARGES OR LEGAL SITUATIONS)
& why you would like to be mentored.
Send the letter to:
The Isaiah 61:1 Project, PO Box 1094, Holly Springs, GA 30142
We believe there are no LOST CAUSES in God's eyes
& everyone deserves a second chance!
WHY we do what we do
When they are released,
ex-offenders frequently have no where to go, no one to help them and no knowledge of the abundant resources available to them within our communities, leaving them feeling hopeless and desperate.
We form relationships with them & their family (if they have one) through our Mentoring Program, then connect them with the necessary resources, tools & skills that they will need to help ensure a successful re-entry into the community or a recovery center upon their release. This results in a much greater chance of success without recidivism.
